Mandi

Dustin and Mandi first met in the summer of 2007 when their families decided to go on a camping trip together. Their families had been friends for some time so it would seem they were destined to be together. They dated for a few months during the summer of 2009 but parted ways that fall when Mandi left for the University of Montana Western. They remained friends but recognized that the timing was just not right. A few years passed as Mandi tried to find out who she was and what she wanted to become. Dustin stayed in Helena attending the University of Montana Helena in their Diesel mechanics program. Mandi eventually ended up back at home in Helena where she started her own business as a pet groomer.

4 years passed and they began to talk more frequently. It seemed as though the timing might be right this time. They made the relationship official March 17th of 2015, 8 years following their first meeting. Dustin graduated with his associates and started a business of his own in the construction field doing flooring.

Feb 21st of 2016 turned out to be a very important date for these two. They had gone up for a weekend stay at a place in Red Lodge Mt called Blue Sky Cabins. They were celebrating a late Valentine ’s Day with a great meal and romantic destination. Dustin went outside for a while. Mandi didn’t know where he was or what he was doing. It turns out that he had stepped out to say a prayer asking God if he was doing the right thing and his body filled with goose bumps and for the first time he had his answer. He came back in the cabin and very unexpectedly knelt down on a knee and proposed. Mandi cried of course.

They spent 8 months planning their wedding. Mandi chose a beautiful Cinderella type Casablanca Ball gown. Each time she put it on she literally glowed. It was her perfect dress- no question. Linda’s bridal Images was thrilled to get to dress the entire wedding party from Mandi to her 8 beautiful Bridesmaids and Maid of Honor to the cutest little Flower Girls you have ever seen. The men looked sharp in their gray slacks and vest and Dustin measured up to Mandi’s look in his Steel Gray tuxedo.

The Staubach Creek Ranch was the back drop for their fairytale wedding. Mandi says it was absolutely the best day of her life. Looking at the smile on Dustin’s face, I would say it was the best day in his life as well.
